The Bittersweet Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the Frenchtown district of historic St. Charles. The home was built in 1864 and has been beautifully restored. With the charm of high ceilings, antique furnishings and the sitting porch you will feel like you have been transported back in time.

Bittersweet Inn offers 3 bedrooms with queen sized beds and private bathes. In addition, there are two suites, one with an adjoining room. All rooms have sitting areas, air conditioning, fluffy bathrobes, and ceiling fans. The inn has several common areas decorated with lovely antiques for your enjoyment. Each nights stay includes a gourmet breakfast with fresh ground coffee, fresh fruit, homemade butter, jams, jellies, breads, muffins and or biscuits. Upon your arrival refreshments will be served with homemade treats.
